PacesCases – Online Video Revision for MRCP (UK) PACES

Hi, there! My fellow MRCP PACES candidates. I have some good news for you. No, the Royal College of Physicians has not abolished PACES. Rather, Pastest has come up with a novel way of revising for the PACES examination in the form of an online video presentation.

If you have ever doubted the power of Internet, think about the fate of John McCain and the triumph of Barack Obama. If you think there is no way Internet can help you pass the PACES examination, think again.

Watch the Experts Do it with Style

Pastest is accomplishing something extraordinary for PACES candidates. It is offering interactive video recordings of exemplary PACES clinical cases to help candidates acquainted with this traditionally feared and loathed examination. With the recordings, you can play and replay them to your heart content in the comfort of your desk after a tiring day at the hospital.

With PACES CASES, you will be able to:

  1. Watch how the Brits approach the exam (they can really act the part deftly)!
  2. Listen to murmurs and heart sounds real time.
  3. Catch how the Brits talk (and they sure speak well)!
  4. Enjoy unlimited playback.
  5. See rare cases.

Of course, there is absolutely no substitute for seeing real patients in the wards and this is important to understand at the outset. But PACES CASES is a defining moment in dictating the many ways a candidate usually revise for PACES outside the hospital.

Nocturnale.com has been fortunate enough to be offered a test review account. Play the video above to watch a preliminary appraisal of PACES CASES. I shall try and upload more reviews soon. Click here for a full-functioning free demo!

Hi..i am a medical student in my 4th year and i wish to sit for MRCP Part1 after 12mths of my housemanship. Is that advisable? And how can i prepare for Part 1 at this moment? Thx

@YSE If you think you are up for it, just do it! Preparing for Membership exams like the MRCP requires a toxic dose of commitment and determination. At your stage, you should make very sure you acquire a solid foundation in General Medicine, which should put you in good stead for any postgraduate qualifications.

  3. YSE says:

    OK. Thx :-)
