Zooper, it’s a brand!

Finally after months of deliberation and patience, we drove to Robinsons and bought this lovely baby stroller.

When we first jumped into the market in the hunt for the perfect stroller, we were overwhelmed. There are too many brands to choose from. Worse, they mostly come with hefty price tags. We just don’t think paying RM1000 and above for a human transporter justifies the need.

More than that, we didn’t like some of the designs from older but so-called trusted brands like Chicco or Graco. On the other hand, chic brands like Italy’s Peg Prego build really eye-catching models which cost more than a poor doctor’s monthly salary.

Still, the proprietor of Nocturnale.com is no cheapskate and will not be consigned to the bargain sale alley of the nearest Giant or Tesco store with shoddy-looking, destined-to-break-in-no-time baby trolleys.

Luckily, we found Zooper! Zooper is relatively new in the business of manufacturing and selling baby travelling systems. It is a company from USA. From what I can gather from its corporate website, it prides itself in making affordable but attractive looking, solidly-built baby strollers. The perfect balance of price and quality, just what we need!

The model we settled on is the Zooper Twist, a mid-range light-weight stroller that has garnered many positive reviews online. It is priced at RM700 but with the holiday sale in full swing, we were given a total of 50% discount. A steal!

The Zooper Twist’s minimalist design resemble the more popular (but expensive) Maclaren models. It feels solid, it moves around agilely, the seats are comfy, the colors (red with gray accent) elegant and the umbrella shades look cool. We haven’t had a chance to try it out with Baby Kate yet; we can’t wait to buggy her around the next time we hit the outdoors.
