The past one week has been one helluva experience. I admit I was at a time completely overwhelmed by the incessant wails and cries. But the joy of seeing Baby Kate staring at your face, clenched fists clumsily fiddling around her cheeks while making frequent mouthing and sucking movements make everything else irrelevant. I felt blessed fathering such a beautiful angel.
She was so adorable in fact that I find it difficult putting my eyes off her. Here, she was caught deep in her baby slumber. Sight like this make you want to huddle beside her and smell her scalp and feel her warmth.
