This is surreal.
I have no idea how I did it. But here is the proof (vide infra). I passed the MRCP Part 2 Written exam taken in Singapore just under four weeks ago.
I was logging on the Internet (and checking the MRCP website for the latest updates) via my iBook at the Starbucks. Slumped down in a comfy setty beside me, CY was reading a glossy mag while sipping coffee.
She was bewildered when I turned around giving her a bear hug and a quick peck on her lips. I blurted in excitement that both she and I have passed the MRCP exam. “Oh, my god!” was all she could conjure up in words as she looked into my eyes, incredulous.
I pointed to her at the computer screen. The rest, as they like to say is history.

Pass at first attempt: I hope I am not imagining things. Yay!
And for the record, CY cleared the hurdle with flying colours! Strange that just weeks before we were in a total state of despondency, we now find ourselves drowned in a sea of bliss. Months of grinding hardwork and sacrifice seemed immeasurably justified in retrospect.
Needless to say, we are heading out tonight to fête.
