International Medical University Revisited

Sorry for the apathetic vibe here at Nocturnale.com; if it’s any excuse, I’ve been obsessively occupied with my postgraduate exam preparation. I was never this relentless in my studies before. I don’t know why but it’s true. Anyhow…

Here is my respite in the form of a blog post. Just the other day, I was back at my alma mater to procure some medical literature for my exam revision §. I was surprised to see a new wing sprouting up in all her spanking new glory.

The new block is very modern-looking. The delicate flora-rich lawn before the edifice that is not enclosed or barricaded in any way and which connects directly to the open street is particularly ingenious. It gives the impression of openness, and freedom, which I thought was good especially for the IMU students.

With an unpretentious and contemporary façade, IMU now looks and feels more like a university campus.

Here, you see the old block (on the left) and the new one connected via an overhead passageway. At the moment, the new block is yet to be occupied. Walking under the shadow, with its odor of fresh paint still newly emanating from the walls, I have a sudden desire to become a medical student all over again.
