The last day of 2007 has thus far been celebrated with little fanfare, with meals taken at home and entertainment provided by the cable TV. We are curling up on the bed as we write this as the clock slowly but surely ticks by to greet the coming year. With subdued anticipation, we shall bid farewell to 2007, in the comfort of our deep slumber.
Truth be told, 2007 has been a blast. I would gladly relive the experience if given the opportunity. But here comes 2008, my monstrous 2008, a year that is gonna be heaped with new responsibilities, fresh challenges and no doubt intriguing precariousness. It will be, as they say, a roller-coaster ride. I welcome 2008 with half trepidation and half composure, knowing that things will likely be very different come tomorrow.
