I look forward to the weekend this week, more than I usually do. Secluded and sequestered in a remote town north of the Klang Valley for most of the week deprived of common hedonistic pleasure has a cruel way of paralyzing the already weak morale. The prospect of returning to the warm embrace of the pulsating civilization is wonderful incentive to work the extra mile, knowing that the end, however interim is near in sight.
Besides, seeing the family and exchanging regards and anecdotes about the tribulations of life over dinner is something I relish greatly. It adds to the delight to know that CY will be back from her trip to the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia and I am seeing her for the first time in two agonizing weeks.
