I Remember This Day

The Internet is inundated with essays, reports and editorials on the 9/11 disaster. It is the 5th anniversary of the mindless attack and what struck me different this time is the fact that I have actually been to the Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan.

It is not a place of gay, touristy attraction. It may be swarmed with curious visitors, but really the thick air of melancholy lingers potently around the disfigured place.

On a lighter note, I’m glad things went smoothly today. Patients coming in to the wards and the work load were manageable. I didn’t have too much problem. It’s a Monday, so I couldn’t be more thankful.
